Paint like a PRO!

image

Paint like a professional artist using that unique dry quality pastels that most of us use almost as much as we did use those regular crayons.

There are different techniques wherein pastels can be used on their own, or combined, to produce a pastel painting.

Using pastels allow artists to create paintings that are varied in style, they can be rich and vibrant or soft and subdued. The pastels can be used in different positions to create different strokes and the colours can be layered and blended to create textures. The unique quality of pastels is that they are dry so there is no waiting for colors to dry and the colors do not fade, crack or yellow over time.

If you want to learn more, Manila Workshops, together with the Young Advocates, will be holding a Pastel Color Painting Workshop on October 18, 2014 at Mothercare Podium Branch, Mothercare Podium Branch, 3/L The Podium Mall, 18 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
